• Later-stage Companies: $175k - $225k per year
Non-token equity:
• Early-stage companies: 80% owned by founders

• Early-stage companies: $120K - $160K per year
• Later-stage companies: $225K+ per year
Non-token equity:

Engineer compensation
---
U.S.-based engineers: $125k - $160k (median $150k)
Global engineers: $100k-150k (median $125k)
Token equity: 0.1-0.4% of max token supply.

• Social Media employees have the lowest salary: $56k per year on average

These numbers come with some caveats:
• These are averages. They include part-time jobs.
• They include positions in countries all over the world.
$60k might not seem like an amazing salary in the US, but it's great if you're living in India.
If you’re just starting out and don’t have a ton of experience, skills, or credibility, you might make significantly less.
If you are an outlier or have a specialized skill, you can make A LOT more.
I've heard of smart contract devs who charge $150k+ for a 3-month project.
